At EHA, athletes play hockey at a professional level and play versus clubs in Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Finland and Slovenia.

Amirkhan Karimov is a Russian hockey player, a graduate of the Salavat Yulaev system (KHL leauge club sports school).

Amirkhan is currently playing and studying at the European Hockey Academy. Amirkhan received all the documents from the academy, received a European residence permit and began playing for the team in the European Championship. His team became the first in Hungary and 24th in all of Europe this season, and also got to the final competitions of the leading European championships.

European Hockey Academy – the EHA sports program is designed for 9 months, during that time the players will compete versus clubs from Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Finland and Slovenia, and also participate in tournaments against the best European clubs.

The professional working methods at EHA create an opportunity for foreigners to adapt to the European style of hockey, as well as get the opportunity to continue their hockey career in Europe at a professional level.

Athletes play hockey at a professional level and play in European championships in their age groups.

EHA teams are in the top 20 in Europe in their age groups and play against leading European hockey academies.

Living conditions at EHA

Living conditions at EHA

Hockey players of the EHA Academy live in comfortable dormitories, 2-3 people per room.

The dormitory campuses are located in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Finland and Hungary.

The rooms are equipped with everything necessary for comfortable and safe living for athletes from 12 to 20 years old. The athletes are distributed according to age categories.

The children are supervised by the academy staff (supervisors) and, if necessary, answer all the children's questions regarding training and everyday life. All the academy staff have first aid skills and have instructions in case of emergency.

The hockey players eat 3 times a day.

All the athletes living there have the necessary work space to do their homework.

Representative Office of the European Hockey Academy in Serbia and Russia

Pro Futuro Sports is the official representative of the European Hockey Academy in Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS countries.

The European Hockey Academy has an office in Russia and Serbia, which allows incoming athletes and their parents to have a specialist accompanying you at all stages of admission and training at the academy.

The European Hockey Academy is the only academy with a back office in Russia and Serbia.

The Academy provides support:

  • International money transfers from Russia abroad to pay for tuition;
  • Visa support for the athlete and parents;
  • We have an office in Russia and Serbia. Before sending your child to Europe, you can meet us in person, we will answer all your questions, and will also fully support you at the admission stage and during your stay at the academy.

EHA Admission Requirements

To consider an application, the candidate will need to have

  • Statistics of participation in and official championships;
  • Video highlights of game fragments;
  • Certificate of incomplete secondary education/certificate of complete secondary education/diploma of higher education;
  • Extract from the vaccination certificate;
  • Extract from the report card with grades for the last 3 years;
  • A bank statement on the availability of funds in the account;
  • You will be able to receive a full package of documents for obtaining a visa after the approval of the candidacy;
  • Submit an application through the registration form;
  • Contact a representative of the EHA Academy.

Hockey tryouts for EHA teams in Europe

Hockey tryouts for EHA teams in Europe

European Hockey Academy helps player tryouts both remotely (based on video clips, statistics, recommendations) and in person in Europe.

If you are interested in coming to Europe for a tryout to get to know the academy, coaching staff, and also to get an in-person assessment of your level of training and prospects for further development in Europe, leave a request on the website and we will agree on possible dates for a visit to the academy.

European Hockey Academy also offers short-term stay programs (camps or monthly programs throughout the year), which are formed individually, upon request.

Season 2025/2026

Annual program – 9 months

  • September 1 – June 1;
  • Games with hockey clubs/schools/academies in Europe - Hungary, Austria, Slovakia and Slovenia;
  • Accommodation on the academy campus;
  • 5 training days a week (1-2 trainings per day);
  • Travel to games;
  • Sports insurance;
  • Training according to the school or university program;
  • Individual skills training, general physical training;

  • Assistance in planning a further hockey career in Europe/USA or Canada;

The EHA enrollment process

The EHA enrollment process
  1. Application. Prepare a video and statistics and fill out the application.
  2. Approval of the candidate. We will analyze your data and coordinate the candidacy with the academy coaches
  3. Offer. The academy will make an offer to the successful candidate.
  4. Signing of the contract. The parents of the successful candidate will sign the training contract.
  5. Preparation of documents. We will help prepare the necessary documents for the enrollment.
  6. Visa. We will provide visa services and help you get a visa to Europe.
  7. Travel plan. We will coordinate your trip to Europe to the place of study.
  8. Supervising. During the year, you will be able to receive information support from our specialists.
